Program Evaluation is extremely important for ensuring overall integrity and quality of a program. Evaluation could be categorized into two distinct categories. These broadly include formative and summative evaluation. Both of these kinds of evaluation are vastly required for assessing and evaluating any kind of program, and it has also been evidenced that program evaluation could also broadly help in the context of program evaluation (CDC Healthy Communities Program). According to Jacobs (2017), both of these kinds of program evaluation are dominantly important for when these two program evaluations are implemented together, this vastly helps in determining the quality of the program being conducted.
